Reach out — here’s exactly how it works

Stuck on a lesson? Lost your place? Wrestling with a now-step? Don’t sit with it alone — that’s what we’re here for.

“If you allow yourself to be down, you’re not going to be able to move forward. And that’s something I know from my heart.”

So when you’re stuck: write in. Keep going — and let us help you take the next little step.

Who answers when you write in

When you send a message, Peppy — my assistant — reads it first. Peppy handles the everyday stuff: how the course works, finding a lesson, tech hiccups, a nudge when you’re stuck on a now-step. Quick, warm, and on it.

For the rare, exceptional things — the ones that truly need a human heart and lived experience, not an assistant — your message goes to me, Theresa. I read those myself and answer personally. That path is reserved for the things only I can speak to, so I can give them the care they deserve.

I’m telling you this plainly because you deserve to know who’s on the other end. No bots pretending to be me, no black holes.

Send a message

This opens your own email app with your message addressed to us — nothing is sent until you hit send yourself.

If you’re in crisis, please reach out right now

This course is guidance, not emergency help. If you’re struggling to stay safe, please contact someone qualified immediately:

Canada: call or text 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline, 24/7) · Kids Help Phone: 1-800-668-6868 or text 45645 · For community supports, dial 2-1-1.

Elsewhere: call your local emergency number or search for your country’s crisis line — help is closer than it feels.

Our promise, in plain words

Your Life, Your Terms is lived-experience guidance — coaching, education, and practical support from real life. It is not licensed legal, financial, medical, therapy, or mental-health advice, and it’s no substitute for a qualified professional. I also work with the ministry, so I know where the real help lives: I’ll help with what I can, and when something needs a different kind of help — finding work, support services, mental-health care — I’ll point you to the right people for that. We’ll always tell you when something is beyond what we can help with.
