Why I pull a card every morning

Every morning, before the kettle has even finished grumbling, I pull a single tarot card. Not because I need the cards to tell me what to do — but because I like starting the day with a question instead of a scroll.
Sometimes the card is obvious. The Sun on a day that turns out golden. The Four of Swords on a morning my body was begging for rest before my brain caught up. And sometimes it makes no sense at all until evening, when it clicks into place like the last piece of a puzzle I didn't know I was solving.
The ritual takes thirty seconds. The shift in how I move through the day lasts hours. That's the real magic — not prediction, but attention.
